Our Bio-filler is a 100% natural filler made from your blood with zero additives. We extract your platelet rich plasma and platelet rich fibrin from your blood using a special process in our dedicated medical lab. As we age, we lose our natural stores of hyaluronic acid, which causes our skin to lose volume, wrinkle, and become hollow-looking. Fillers can be used in the areas of the face where additional volume is desired- for fuller lips, lip lines, cheeks, jaw, marionette lines, under eyes, nose, hands and more. Fillers are injected beneath the skin with a small needle.

For the best Bio-Filler results we recommend our Cape Cocktail IV two days prior to your filler appointment to ensure that your PRP/PRF has the highest concentration of growth factors. Eating healthy, staying hydrated, exercising, getting plenty of sleep and abstaining from alcohol are all ways to boost the growth factors in your blood for the best results.

Prior to your Bio-Filler treatment we’ll apply prescription strength topical cream and/or a local anesthetic injection to numb the area for your comfort. Pro-Nox 50% nitrous oxide/50% oxygen analgesic can also be added to your treatment to alleviate pain and anxiety.

PRE TREATMENT CARE:

  • Take oral arnica to help minimize bruising and swelling, start at least 2 days prior.
  • Avoid anti-inflammatory/blood thinning medications, if possible for 1 week before treatment.
  • Schedule your appointment at least 2 weeks prior to special events such as a wedding or a vacation.
  • If you have a history of cold sores take anti-viral medication prior to treatment.
  • Make sure you are well hydrated and have ate the day of your appointment, this will decrease the chances of lightheadedness during your treatment.

POST TREATMENT CARE:

  • Avoid significant movement or massage of the treated area.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
  • Avoid extensive sun or heat for 72 hours.
  • Avoid consuming excess amounts of alcohol or salts.
  • If you have swelling you may apply a cool compress for 15 minutes each hour.
  • Try to sleep face up and slightly elevated if you experience swelling.
  • Use Tylenol for discomfort.
  • Take oral arnica tablets to help with bruising and swelling.

FAQS

Yes, Bio-Filler made 100% from your own blood. There are no additional ingredients so there is no risk of allergic reaction.

Getting filler is a little uncomfortable, but at the Skin Spot Laser Club we use a variety tools to make your treatment more comfortable.

We use maximum strength prescription numbing cream, anesthetic injections, distraction tools and ice rollers for your comfort.

Most of our clients are comfortable with only numbing cream, but we do offer Pro-Nox (laughing gas) for purchase as needed.

Yes, our goal is for you to look you, only better. Our Bio-Filler treatment is designed to help you look and feel more confident. Since Bio-Filler is made from only your own blood it looks very natural.

We don’t find bruising to be very common with Bio-Filler, but it is possible. Some areas of the face bruise more easily than other areas and bruising may depend on your age, health, lifestyle and medications you are taking.

To minimize risk of bruising do not consume alcohol 24 hours prior or after, do not take aspirin, ibuprofen or exercise strenuously before or after treatment.

Ice the treated area to minimize bruising and take oral arnica before and after treatment if you are prone to bruising.

Bio-Filler does not have any known interactions with current vaccines. It is a safe alternative for those who are concerned about the risk of swelling associated with dermal fillers and the COVID vaccines.

We do recommend waiting at least 2 weeks after dental surgery before getting Bio-Filler to minimize the risk of infections.
