LASER VEIN REMOVAL (Lumenis Splendor X™)

It has an impressive vein removal rate for nearly everyone. The energy emitted by the Splendor X™ is selectively absorbed by the red blood cells or hemoglobin in the blood vessel. The heat energy from the laser essentially damages the broken blood vessel so that your body stops using it. The blood diverts to other, healthier veins. Once the laser has damaged the vein, it gets broken down and reabsorbed into the body by surrounding tissue. Thus, it is no longer visible. After one or two weeks, the vein will disappear as if it was never there.

We safely treat various forms of unsightly veins including spider veins, broken capillaries, and vascular lesions. We do not treat varicose veins. Vein treatment with a Lumenis Splendor X™ is quick. Not only can we treat and remove spider veins within 1-3 treatments, but each individual Lumenis Splendor X™ treatment lasts only 10-30 minutes. Patients resume normal activities immediately after treatment. Some patients report some discomfort or bruising in the treatment area. We advise them to avoid strenuous exercise for 7-10 days.  

The most popular use for laser vein removal is for spider veins. Spider veins are web-like networks of thin red lines of blood vessels that appear on your legs, thighs, and face.
