The 106nm Nd: YAG wavelength is great for darker skin, but it’s not one size fits all. At The Skin Spot Laser Club we can blend these wavelengths together in the correct amounts for your skin type to provide a perfectly customized treatment. Splendor X laser hair removal is ideal for all skin types, even tanned skin, sessions are faster and require fewer sessions for long lasting results.
A large square shape spot size helps us line up the treatment areas on your body. You don’t need to worry about spots missed this way. The Dual Cooling System (DCS) combines cooled air and a cooled tip to protect your skin and ensure a very comfortable treatment. Thanks to BLEND X technology, you should need fewer sessions than with a treatment using just a single laser wavelength. Unlimited laser hair removal memberships are a 12 month commitment. There is a required medical exam with one of our licensed providers prior to your first treatment to ensure you are a candidate. Hair removal lasers use heat to destroy hair follicles and can reduce hair long term by 75%-90%.
For the best results make sure your laser hair treatments are from a laser designed for laser hair removal. IPL and BBL devices are not lasers, and they are not designed for hair removal. Their results are not long lasting. Alexandrite, Diode and YAG (for darker skin) lasers are considered the gold standards for laser hair removal.

Each individual is different. No one can predict how many sessions you will need. Most laser hair companies sell expensive packages of treatments. When you use up your package, they sell you more. Lasers target pigment in hair, so if your hair is white, grey or very blond (think peach fuzz) laser hair removal will NOT be effective. We tell our clients, don’t wait, once your hair turns grey it’s too late!
For the best results look for a laser for your specific skin color. Darker skinned individuals should receive treatment with a YAG laser to protect their skin from burns and hyperpigmentation. Lighter skinned individuals will get better results from an Alexandrite laser.
Our Splendor X laser uses both wavelengths and is the only laser that can combine them at the same time, so we can safely treat all skin types and colors, even tanned skin!
Individuals with a hormonal imbalance, PCOS, or a history of hursitism, may not see the same reduction and may need more treatments or may need to continue laser hair treatments indefinitely.
